JANIFER YEO-TAN is CEO of the JYSK Group of international companies, operating diverse businesses across the Asia-Pacific, Europe, the Middle East and the United States. The JYSK Group portfolio includes companies in the cosmeceutical and pharmaceutical industries, engineering R&D, and food & beverage. As an active investor, Janifer identifies businesses with excellent potential. She is a major shareholder in three Israeli start-ups with approved and pending patents. Janifer and her husband support several philanthropic projects in Mozambique, Indonesia and the Philippines. They sponsor more than 400 orphans in these countries.
JOHN BUHAGIAR has been a business owner of a private group of companies since 1978 and currently serves as a director of the group. The group includes a welding and construction company as well as property development. John has more than 30 years experience in managing businesses, exercising good corporate governance and sound management of finances.
MICHAEL KOCH started his working life at 16 in his family business, Maryvale Electronics, that specializes in the sale of television and Hi-Fi equipment. At 21, Michael took over and managed the business till 2013. He also founded Michael Koch Pty Ltd in 1991 selling mobile phones and Telstra services, eventually partnering with Optus in 1992. The company continues to sell Optus products and services, including broadband and the new National Broadband Network (NBN). Michael also has a range of property investments as well as two self-storage businesses. He graduated with a G.I.A.E and Diploma of Arts from Monash University in Australia.
Woon Shung Toon
WOON SHUNG TOON has over 20 years of senior management experience in MNCs managing large IT organizations worldwide across financial services, healthcare, insurance and telecommunications industries. He served as Chairman and CEO of Cornerstone Asia Tech Pte td and founded The Analytics Company in 2003. He also held senior IT management positions in SITA-Equant and Equant. He has 18 years of all rounded experience in Information Technology, Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing and Analytics. He is also a well known technology industry entrepreneur and an active serial investor.
Chief Executive Officer
KAMLESH PATEL is a senior technology leader and entrepreneur with a 30-year career in global sales and marketing. He began his career at British Telecom’s Research Labs as a member of the development team creating complex Datacom integrated circuits for telecoms. He subsequently served in BT’s International Mobile mergers and acquisitions team in 1996, leading the network valuation team in a number of acquisitions across Asia. Kamlesh joined Nokia Networks in 2000 as the commercial head of the APAC 3G team where he was involved in winning a number of large deals across Asia. He later assumed responsibility for Nokia’s strategy & business development functions across the Asia Pacific. He was appointed Chief Operating Officer of CellOS Software in 2012 for an initial two years, and returned in 2015 after a one-year break.
Group Financial Controller & Company Secretary
DOUGLAS REID started his accounting career as an auditor with Arthur Andersen. He worked with numerous chartered accounting firms before commencing his own practice in the early 1990s. He merged his practice several years later with a boutique financial services business that expanded into a substantial property fund management business. He was executive director and company secretary for the group. Douglas recently rejoined CellOS Software after initially being company secretary in 2012.
